Wide-Format StikPak Packager

Ropak Manufacturing Company has introduced a new, wide-format StikPak filler which can produce pouches with a seal width up to 4 inches (100 mm).

Ropak’s standard-format filler has a seal width limit of only 2.2 inches (55 mm), and so introducing the wide-format version opens up some product possibilities that are not optimal in a narrow pouch. Such potential candidates include tablets and candies as well as the traditional granular and liquid products that Ropak’s machines have traditionally packaged. The wide-format StikPak filler continues Ropak’s custom of building flexible equipment in that the new design can still support narrow pouches with relatively little changeover parts and time.
