Mourning a Loss

Ropak Manufacturing is  mourning the loss of our first and one of our best customers.

Richard “Dick” Oetgen was one of the first Ropak machine operators at Dixie Crystals Sugar in Savannah, Georgia, in the early 1970′s.  He was promoted through the company and became a great promoter and purchaser of Ropak high-speed packaging machines for sugar, sweeteners, and other products.  When Dick retired in 2010, our company gave him a commemorative plaque to honor and thank him for his loyalty as a customer.

He will be sorely missed at our company, at his former company, and especially by his family and friends.  We will be praying for their comfort in their loss.
